    Great quilt. You have a lot of patience to have collected so many different blues for this project and it is just beautiful.

    A beautiful quilt

    Another way to fix a wavy edge is to stretch your binding as you put it on. If your binding is WOF, don't stretch too hard. Just a little more than taut. If the binding is length of fabric you can stretch it more.

    i think the narrow border works well on this beautiful quilt. the wider borders that are so popular are somewhat of a modern idea. many vintage & antique quilts had very narrow or no border. i think wide borders are ok, a large picture frame appearance, but since quilts are on a bed, wrapped around a loved one or draped over something ..the large framed appearance is never seen again after the picture is taken. i really really love your quilt!
    ..tho i am sorry that you had to cut off that beautiful quilting!
