A lovely quilt and know it will be hugely appreciated. I wish your FIL a good transition into his new home.

I made a twin size one when my mom went to the nursing facility. It fit on her bed and kept her warm too. She loved it to the end and both my siblings were fighting to see who was going to get it when mom was gone! Mom had left word in her will that it was to either go back to me or go to the nursing home where she lived. I chose the later because I had heard many of mom's neighbors say how they wished they had such a pretty quilt to sleep under when I would call her on the phone. She would say, "oh it my daughter who made me the quilt!"

I think this is a perfect wheel chair quilt, and the quilting suits the squares. Nice work!
