    Anything blue rates in my book; the simple pattern allows for the toile to show itself. Very nice; can't wait to see it quilted.

    I think toille is beautifull in ANY colour! my favourite is red but the blue is quite stunning, great job, keep up the good work.

    Beautiful quilt. I agree that the simplicity of the quilt allows the toile to take center stage.

    I love the blue, and also am a big fan of toile in quilts. Ihave a special piece I am saving for a quilt..just haven't found the right pattern yet. A little constructive tip? Watch the points on the square in a square ...sew a slightly larger triangle on each side so you end up with larger overlap at the corners, and then on the next seam stitch a little outside the X at the corner of the center square so that your corner points come out nice and crisp after pressing. I got this hint off of Fons & Porter's show this past weekend....hope it helps. I know it will help me, as I have lots of lopped off points in my quilts. Overall, I think your quilt is gorgeous!!! I just love simple, striking colors & patterns.
