Could you please tell me the name of the book you got this pattern from. My bedroom is blue and yellow and I would love to try to make one. I have really been scared to try a bargello but this is so pretty I would like to try.

I'd like to encourage you to make your bargello; it's not complacated at all. For example, your sew together strips of fabric, maybe 2.5 to 3" wide. Say, you use 10 colors. So, you sew all 10 together. Then, you cut the joined strips into different widths. You can start with a 3" width, then cut a 2.5", then 2" wide, getting larger and smaller as you go. I used 1/2 increments when cutting. Lay them out side by side and shift them up and down to get the pattern flowing. Label each column to keep them in order. Add more strips to the top and bottom of these to make the quilt longer. Does this make sense? I made a practice bargello which turned out really nice. It's my most favorite quilt!

I love blue and yellow together. This is beautiful. Just heard on the news tonight that the color yellow has PCB in it. Is this true? It was on the news and a scientist was saying this. I live in Iowa so Yellow and Black are big with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

I'll add a picture of my first one here, if I can find one... Just in case it helps you decide what you may want to do.
