My DGS was born yesterday & I have lost some of my spare time. I did take my fabric to the laundromat to get it washed, starched, squared off & pressed. Maybe that will save me some time. It'll be next week before I get to it.
Some of us wanted to get this thread up for those who have been better than me & got theirs done.

OK, here's chicken McLittle. I've given up trying to appliqué the shamrock, it's just too difficult a shape.

I still think it's darling! I'm so sorry about the shamrock. I'm so impressed about how fast you did this.

I'm hoping to get mine done this weekend.

I'm so frustrated! The place that I took my fabric to be squared up did a lousy job!I had planned to use today for making the block instead I spent several hours repressing my accent fabrics last night & 3 hours pressing the bluebonnet fabric today then another hour cutting it. I paid $18.00 for them to do this for me. This is my least favorite part of making quilts. I thought I had found a way to just start cutting.
It'll take several days to make it now. :-( I promise I'll get it done!

That's a pretty cute chicken! And I like the WOW shamrocks so don't worry about the appliqué one.
