I will put a post under events inviting people to a meet and greet in the Boise area and see what kind of response we get. Then we can pick the day & place. I have only been to 1 quilt shop in Boise - I think it was called Bear Crossing. If you have a favorite shop, let me know. When we met in Ohio & Indiana we met at 1 quilt shop and then car pooled to a couple more. That was fun, but I actually enjoyed the time we spent at dinner just visiting the most.

Since your staying in Middleton there are shops caldwell Cindys is nice Nampa theres Jo Anns. Eagle theres Crafters warehouse and Hoddy Loppy. I think just sitting over a meal talking would be just as nice as going to the fabric shop.

I put the batting down then the top of the quilt face up then put the right side of backing facing the quilt top. You want the right sides facing each other. Then did 1/4 seam around quilt leaving a opening big enoung to turn quilt inside out. Then i did a 1/4 sew around whole quilt. Very easy to do.
Did you then quilt the three layers? or tie? If quilted, was the denim hard to quilt? what type of fabric was the backing? Thanks!
