    I am trying to do the "Tweets" block from the erinrussek.
    What applique method are you using on those blocks-the blocks with the birds in the 2nd photo

    I posted pictures of four BOMs, the two that I didn't get labeled are Henryetta's Whiskers and the other is My Tweets.

    To answer your questions: I only do machine applique. I usually buttonhole stitch around each piece. The folk art types will be in black thread and the others will be in thread to match the pieces or transparent thread.

    I am using fabrics from my scrap basket as much as possible or from my stash. I may need to buy fabrics for borders.

    All these BOMs finish at different times.

    I have four more started but couldn't get the pictures posted. Will try again later.

    Please tell us more. Are these needle-turn applique? or fused? They both are so pretty!
