    The blocks have been made by machine applique. I trace the patterns onto steam a seam lite. I use a lightbox. Then, press the pieces to the back of my fabric. Then, cut the pieces out, and place them on an applique mat over the lightbox when all the pieces are in place, i press them....Now, they are all fused togehter, I can peel them off, and center them on my background block, and then press. Makes it much easier this way instead of trying to place them piece by piece on the background square. Hope this explains the technique that I am using.

    Your blocks are gorgeous but it looks like an awful lot of work. I can't wait to see the finished quilt. It wil be a show piece. Nice job, keep'em coming.
