    Great quilt. I never would have thought to use orange for the sashing but it worked perfectly.

    You are such an inspiration! Several weeks ago my husband pulled out all his shirts that he no longer wants to wear (I was in need of some shirt hangers). I was going to put them in a box for goodwill, but something keeps nagging me to make twin quilts out of them for our 5 grandchildren. Now, I believe I will make it a project for 2014!! Thank you for the wonderful idea of the nine patch!

    Thanks for all the lovely comments. I have lots of scraps left and have purchased more shirts. My thrift store has a daily $5.00 bag sale and I can't resist buying more shirts when I go in, I can fit about 7 or 8 shirts in a bag. I think the next one will include recycled blue jeans and shirts.
