    So I posted the pic--you can clearly see the waves. This is not what to do. Always measure three times to get your side border measurements. Seam ripper here I come. I recently quilted a quilt for someone who did not measure and it was a bear on the side borders! See how well I know this but short cut--no way no more! Making more work for myself. But I will have a better product. I had hoped to put this one in our local fair in Aug but not like that! LOL

    the quilt is beautiful, love the colors!!!!!!! too bad you just can't kiss the boo boo away... lol

    Thank you for posting this, it must have been hard to! I really appreciate it because I was about to do the same thing, now I will re-evaluate the situation. You saved me from this dreaded problem!!!

    That is a beautiful quilt and whatever you decide to do with the borders, it will still all be gorgeous. Don't feel bad about the mistake though. I'm assuming you're a veteran quilter and feel like you should be above a mistake like that, but we all have our moments. And those dang mitered corners are a pain in the rear!!!

    Check out this bad boy picture below. You wanna talk about waves. :) I didn't redo, just hoped it would "quilt out". Second picture is an after picture.
