    Ii like the pieced border against the white best, but if you need a strip between them how about the lavender print? And then the yellow print you showed above as the final border and/or wider binding (not just 1/4"--as shown in the photo looks just right).

    Wow! I go with the pieced border also. The quilt is beautiful. Did you have a pattern or is it one of the "quilt in my head"?

    I agree with everone, the pieced border with a small solid color in between will be aewsome. Thanks for sharing.

    The thin yellow border then the pieced sets it all off perfectly. Just love it!

    I like the pieced border best, not either of the solids. Ending with the white with the green serpentine seems unfinished to me.

    The whole quilt has so much variety and interest, I think a plain border would detract and be out of character.
    I am not a big fan of Sue, but REALLY like this one.
