Yeah, I like the first one better also. Just looks more balanced to me.

I like the pinwheels too. The second one makes me dizzy for some reason?

I agree with Sylvia. The second choice is distracting from the main part of the quilt.

Thanks everyone, I have to agree, pinwheels it is...I already had the 2" half square triangles made from a previous quilt I was working on...kinda like a leader/ender project...so it won't take long to sew them into pinwheels...hopefully I can't get the borders on then will post a pic....then onto my longarm and decide how to quilt it....oh hum decisions decisions....lol.....
