I honestly have no clue! This is for my youngest son as he loves to make movies. I'm stumped on what color I should use though. The pattern calls for a 6 1/2 inch border all the way around.. The backing will be denim as he wanted that "heavy" feeling..
but the border...????? I'm not sure..any ideas?

I personally would like it as is! If you want a border use one of the brights you have in your squares than bind it in black. Just my thoughts! :-D

It's a beautiful quilt. I would pick the color in the center or the red block as the border. I also agree that you should bind it in black.

    Nice Job!!!!

You've got so many colors in the quilt that any bright border would be fine. Personally, I'd just look at what I had in my stash with enough yardage and go for it.

I like it as is but if you want a theme maybe the black and white like the ppl use int the movies to start a new scene. I can't think of what the darn thing is called. Sorry.

    Stunning Quilt!!! :D:D:D
Maybe a 2 inch in one of the darker colors and a 4 inch black. Bind it with another darker color?
I don't think I would use too light a colors, it may be too busy?

Any color will do, but the brights seem to stand out more. I would say whatever you choose that makes the complementing squares "pop"

I love the filmstrip look, maybe a 4-6 inch version in black and white.

I would just bind it in black and leave it at that. I love this quilt.
