    Love it! I would bring that yellow back in. then bind it in a dk brown. You say he's NOT serving in Afghanistan?

    I agree with the lighter color from the camo for the next border and use a dark brown or dark green for the binding. But do you really need another border?

    I think she probably meant to say he is "now" serving in Afghanistan..instead of "not" serving.
    I think a dark brown would frame it in. crafty_linda_b

    My first thought was the yellow, but being that he is in Afganistan it might get dirtier faster, so I am thinking either a blue from the center blocks or a burnt orange from the sashing.
