    I like both ways. Side by side gives you a really neat place for some quilting. If you go with the sashing I'd add some of the stripe if you have it for the corner stones.

    Definately sashing between makes such a difference. Only my humble opinion.

    I'm no help - I like it both ways. #1 give you a secondary pattern and #2 makes the blocks pop. I think it will partially depend on how big you want it to be. But either way, it will look good.
