what color of small border to use on my D9P in bold colors?

I'm trying to use up scraps from my stash and FQ's from our local guild's silent auction. I've used up almost all of each color and print - so I have to find something similar for the borders. The blue on the right is a shell print in black which will become most of the back along with a cute realistic panel "Dolphins at play".

Right now I am leaning towards the orange/yellow blender or the red or the two pieces of yellow/tan. Since I don't have enough for one solid border of the yellow/tan, I'm thinking of using two complimentary pieces for top/bottom and sides.

I'm just planning on a one color of bright to separate the top from the back/main large border.

Anything look good? I've picked up, dropped, mixed, merged and crossed eyes trying to make up my mind.

Border patrol to the rescue!! I hope

Love the quilt! Great colors, and great pattern for it.

The little squares and the fish look orange in the pic, so I'd do the inner border in orange. The outer border I'd use the blue. Just my opinion from how the colors look in the pic.

Unfortunately I am color challenged....hehehe. However, I had to say that I think you are doing an amazing job on the quilt. Can't wait to see it completed.

Nice D9P. I'd go for the orange inner border and blue outer as well.

Very pretty colors in the quilt. By any chance, do you have enough of the magenta (is that the red you referred to? I don't see it on your board of fabric choices). There's just a few pieces of it in the quilt, and little accents of that color in the one print. I think that would set off the quilt nicely.

love the 9 patch!! nice and bright. I agree with the orange or even yellow and blue for the outer boarder. I have seen boarder colors change, top and side one color and the bottom and other side another color. let us see whenyou finish.
