    That's what my very 1st quilt teacher taught us... to think about it like a picture & to "frame" it accordingly. I love the way these borders turned out! Of course, I have a serious "thing" about this quilt anyway... pink & green? Shabby chic? That's right in my wheelhouse! This is gorgeous & I love, love, love it!!!

    So, so beautiful...and a scallop border is perfect. What a lovely quilt - the colors and fabrics are beautiful.

    Is there a pattern for this quilt? I like how you used some white squares - they would be perfect for some delicate embroidery. I have been looking for a pattern where I could just 'scatter' some redwork around the quilt. Your quilt is very pretty.
