    It really is beautiful - you did a great job.
    P.S.: I just took a look at the pattern and your solid red borders make a nice quilt into a stunning one. Again - great job.

    This came out fantastic! I remember the original post and wasn't sure what I would have done because I'm one of those people that can't visualize how things will come out at first and usually add fabrics as I go. Very dynamic quilt.

    Red is perfect. The quilt is gorgeous--and you are so brave to use it on your kitchen table. Mine is grand central and I know if I put a pretty quilt on it, then either A) I wouldn't let anyone eat/do homework/drop keys/clutter up my table or B) the quilt would get spilled on and heads would roll. Oh, did I just say heads would roll? I meant someone would have a discussion with me.

    I used to play everything "safe" but when I changed and decided to be brave with color, I've been so much happier.
