    I believe I now know how the sashing was done. It looks like the "crumb" method of making blocks to me. Simply free form sewing bits and pieces together and then cutting into whatever size you want. It's now on my To Do list.

    This is great! From the fabrics to the sashing and my favorite part the way the thread changes color throughout the stitching. Simply wonderful!
