    we all made up our own pattern, I drew one petal and a stem, traced them onto steam a seam lite, fused to the fabrics, cut them out and fused to the blocks, I did a very narrow zigzag with a white 60wt thread for extra security.After I drew my petal I decided what size stem it needed and drew that, I traced them onto a paper to make the whole flower to decide what size block it needed, mine finished at 8". I cut each piece 4.5" It's a lot of fun and goes pretty quick, uses scraps and I think will make nice gifts. mine is 38X44 (more or less)
