    I love that pattern , but have never done it . So glad to see yours.. its a beauty! The binding color works perfectly.

    Good choice for the binding. It frames the quilt nicely. What size are your axes and what did you use for a template? I would like to make one in the future to destash my scrap bins (yes, bins).

    Perfect binding! Lots of scraps and lots of work sure paid off......great quilt! Just need to know why you put it away. It's too pretty to hide

    I like the ax head or apple core pattern so much, but have not made one because I know it is very time consuming - but one of these days I will do one and I hope it turns out as wonderful as yours. It is so homey and comfortable looking - I just want to crawl under it and sigh away the days aches and pains...LOL.
