Default BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS Pueblo pots quilt finally finished!

I am not sure how these will post but the first picture as I am looking show the finished quilt; then my Daughter and SIL opening; followed by the Acoma pot that I exchanged for the one in pattern (this pot was made by my SIL's grandmother in Acoma and given to me many years ago), the Isleta wedding vase; (the reason I show these individually is my SIL is half Acoma and half Isleta) then the back of quilt (this pic is not quite true to color) followed by my hand print quilted in and a spider web for good luck; then a picture that shows the colors pretty true, a picture of the actual Acoma pot in my cupboard and finally the label I will make. (See I really wasn't quite finished!) but they had to fly home today. The quilt's new home will be in New Mexico, near Albuquerque; where the designer of pattern Betty Standiferd resides. I did take some liberties with the pattern; exchanging the Acoma pot and moving the pots around considering color placement and added borders to increase the size. It is shown on a Calif. King size bed. Kokapelli's feathers are made from fabric fused together then sewn down the middle to create a bit of dimensional interest. This quilt is all hand quilted and don't know as I would ever do another that size by hand; it is the second quilt I have made and I want to thank all the board members who answered my many frantic pleas for help through the phases of making it. THANK YOU!

This is one of the most stunning quilts I have ever seen. There's a link on this site for posting stunning quilts. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t210427.html This belongs there. (The rest of you should go and see the awesome quilt show!) But besides this, this quilt could be in a major show! It is amazing! Have I gushed enough??

Wow, wow. wow! This quilt is a masterpiece! Obviously every stitch in it is filled with love. I would have had a very hard time parting with it if I had made it. You did a fabulous job on this quilt and I hope your DD and SIL realize all the hard work and love that went into its making.

Fantastic quilt. Having lived in NM for 10 years, I love
    southwest designs.
