So I jumped on the bandwagon and made a bow tuck purse this weekend. I have never sewn anything remotely like a purse before, so I was very hesitant because I didn't want it to look "homemade" when I was done. I wanted people to look at it and say "You made that??" and since I had no purse making skills I was worried. But I found the directions to be pretty good, I only got confused on a few things, but was able to work most of them out. The only thing that went wrong was my ties ended up too short, but that's okay I think I like them shorter anyway.

I loved how I could make the pockets fit what I usually carry, I own a nook and a Kindle so I made a pocket big enough to fit one of those and then I made a pocket to fit my camera too. Instead of quilting I added a blue flower bead with an orange seed bead on top. I like the look of it. Enjoy my pics!!

Great fabric, and love the bead idea, might have to borrow that one from you.

That turned out great. Love the colors. I guess the Easter Bunny got in your purse and left you some goodies.

Hehe my son gave me 4 of his Easter eggs and put them in my purse so I would know they were mine! :)

I just used cottons. I don't know that my machine could have handled anything thicker, some of the parts you are sewing through almost 10 layers! (on the handles)

Thanks everyone for the compliments, it was so fun to make!

    Cheers!
