    They are both so cute! I like the black button idea. If I had to chose one or the other I would pick the second one! I am partial to pink tho.

    I think you should cover a button. I found a large one at Hancock's Fabric and had never covered a button before, but found it to be very easy, and the button looked great. So much easier than running around trying to find one to work.

    Your bag looks great! Living in a small town I don't have a lot of choices in buttons and could never find what I was really looking for when I made these bags. I now buy the Dritz button covers that way I can use matching fabric for the button. Works a lot better for me. I don't have to wait until I get to town to get one finished. :thumbup:
