Your bag is beautiful. I've been looking at this pattern for some time now. And you've just made me decide. I have a trio of fabric(hummingbirds on one) the I bought a few years ago. This pattern is purfect for it! Thanks so much for sharing.

I added the flap to one of the pockets inside and made a tiny zippered case for putting little things in there I don't want to lose. I have enough of the fabric I quilted to make a cosmetic bag and an eye glass case today.

Just beautiful, great fabric and great idea to quilt the inside pockets, I don't understand the flap, does it cover something, sorry to sound stupid but I don't get it. I'm in the process of sewing my second Bow Tucks bag in beige/navy blue colors, I will post pics.

I know it sounds crazy, but my cell phone is an anodized metal and it slips all over the place in any purse I put it in. Even in tight little pockets .. So that is what the flap is for.
Since this was mine I customed it to meet my needs. LOL!

There was a whale fabric tote someone made here on the board this week (sorry I can't remember who made it). I loved that tote and I found that fabric on sale at hancoks for four bucks a yard! Hoffman fabric no less! I will make a couple for the silent auction for the diabetic kids. Now to find a companion from my stash.

Love the colors and the purse pattern. I keep seeing the pattern pop up and guess I'm going to have to buy it as it keeps calling to me.
