Thank all of you for the compliments. I know my son will treasure it for many years to come. It was a work I enjoyed tremendously, especially since my dad passed away last year. I thought of him so much while making this quilt.

    Fun idea !!!

Son is Eagle, Father was Eagle, Never thought of this.

My son's cub scout shirt had so many arrows, he kept trying to wear it without tucking it in..

This brings back such wonderful memories !
    thanks for sharing !

What a wonderful idea! My son is an Eagle Scout, was active in the OA, Buckskin, etc. etc. and has so much "memorabilia"....I think I'll have to take a look at a way to incorporate all of the cloth items into a quilt! Thanks for the wonderful example. I'm sure this will be treasured for generations to come!

What a thoughtful memory quilt. How special for your son to have his grandfather's shirt. Scouting can be so important in a young man's life. You've done a great thing.
