OMG Those are gorgeous! By any chance is this a pattern from the 'French Braid Obsession' book? I just happened to be browsing thru it today at my LQS, but was out of time, and didn't get to closely check out the patterns. I've been wanting to do a French Braid quilt for a long time.

Beautiful braids, love the whole quilt! All three runners were different even though from the same pattern.

Wow - they are all beautiful. I love the way different colors can make the same block look completely changed.

    Hi Overlander,

Great job!!! I did one in black and white with red moire sashing. I think I used the wrong kind of fabric (polyester / rayon) becasue it was kind of stretchy and the sashing was wavy  Do you stabilixe your strips, or just stick with 100% cotton. How havw you been?

    The other Barbara

That pattern is in the French Braid Quilts book by Jane Hardy Miller. It may also be in the French Braid Obsession (same author), but I can't dig it out tonight to check.

I am in the process of quilting one myself and it is so easy! I did the first of 4 panels in about 1 hour. I hope to post a picture of mine in the next several days.

As Maryb119 stated, it is fun, fast and beautiful! The hardest part is deciding on the fabrics! :)
