Simply beautiful Barb. Love the colors and how the light in the middle works.

Thank you so much everyone. :-D I didn't see the "glow" in the middle of the braids till I looked at the last pictures I took at the LQS. It is the only place that had a big enough design board to hold the whole quilt. Don't be intimidated by this quilt. Ask the staff where you choose your fabrics to help. It took me quite a while to find 'just the right' flow of colors. I even dumped 2 the week before the class because when I looked at them again, didn't like them. :) I helped the lady who made the orange/yellow panel choose hers and it took her over 2 hours. :) But we had so much fun. The other lady had already picked her greens about 2 years ago and finally got to take the class. I have enough fabric left to do another. Will just have to purchase something for the separators and borders so I'm going to attempt a tutorial. Wish me luck - any tips will be gladly accepted. Cheers, Barb

If you feel someone tapping on your shoulder and pointing away to distract you.. then you look back and your brown braided quilt is gone... yeah, that was me :D

    Just stunning!!
