Something tells me she likes it alot. That was so nice of you to give her a quilt. Very beautiful young lady I might add.

How thoughtful. How many pieces are in this beauty?

The quilt pattern is called "Cantebury" and is a free download from Red Rooster Fabrics. There are approx 178 - 4 patches (maybe more because I made it bigger) and approx 88 plain patches (again maybe more). Thankyou everyone for your generous compliments. I must say, it was a very humbling experience to give a quilt to such a wondeful young lady.

You did a great thing there. That quilt is perfect for her, and will always remind her of the welcome she received from her mother's people. Being made from so many small pieces seems to symbolize something. It is really beautiful.

She looks happy, which is all that matters. I hope that she wants to and is able to stay in touch with everyone.

From that smile I'd say Bridget loved your choice and her reunion with the family. DH do have good ideas occassionally and your quilt is beautiful.

Beautiful and it looks like Bridget thinks so too. Goes to show how much your DH appreciates your work to suggest taking her one of your quilts. These are the best gifts when you give someone something out of love. God's Blessing on you.
