Default Bright and cheerful

I had this Madris plaid in my stash because I was waiting to find a fabric to tone it down. Instead I found this just as bright yellow. I used my Bernina #4 serpentine stitch to quilt it and bound it with the same plaid. When I squared it up, some of the cornerstones got trimmed but if you use the same fabric to bind, it tricks the eye so you don't notice it. It is a charity lap quilt and I hope it will make someone happy.

Very cute, but the background doesn't look bright yellow to me. It looks tan and neutral. Looks quite good with your madris plaid (which, when I first read it, my mind said "mattress pad". LOL. Very fancy mattress pad!
