So I need to ask - how many hours of practice did you have to FMQ so beautifully? Is the border a transferred pattern or did you just eyeball and go? I wanna FMQ like you!
Thank you everyone for all the kind comments. I love sharing with others who enjoy the end results as much as I do! (My husband tries, but it isn't the same. :-)

To answer your question Mommamac, I practiced for 1 - 2 hours on small fabric/batting squares, then decided to dive into the quilt. For the border, I had a template heart I traced onto the fabric periodically. The line/loop between the hearts I eyeballed. To be honest... the hearts in the photo are the best of the hearts I FMQ'd. Some of the others are not as smooth!

Until reading your EMail, I had not heard of Diane Gaudynski (I am relatively new to the quilting world). Thank you for "introducing" me to a wonderful quilter who's web-site and quilts I can enjoy! (And... thank you for the compliment... I'm not sure I could ever quilt like her, but I would love to try. Her quilts are amazing.)
