Default Brightened up some dull blocks

I picked up some blocks on the free table at guild. The blocks were well made, of coordinating fabrics, but they just didn't have much pizazz (which may have been why they were on the free table). Putting them together made for a very dull looking quilt - until I discovered a yard of bright orange flannel in my stash. Suddenly the blocks came to life. I then found some bright yellow flannel in my stash for the back, and added some more blocks from the free table. The quilt will be donated back to the guild where I got the blocks.

Orange is not one of my "go to" colors, but in this case you may have me re-thinking my color choices to include more orange.

I love it. I am a total orange person & I think it is beautiful. Good job saving those dull blocks? I like the blocks as well.
