    Default Bronze Metal Quilt

For my birthday, a friend made this Gee's Bend inspired quilt. It is mounted on a board, and is about 8" square. The back is a fabric, but the top is real bronze metal pieces she created and sewed together. Isn't it cool? Love it!

I forgot to say...... she mounted it on a board, but with stitching, so I could remove it and use it as a block in a big quilt, or as a pillow front. But, I like it as it is, and would be afraid of damage if it was on the bed or couch. She is a great friend.
