Mamagus, you didn't have to tell us. I KNEW you were at least a primary teacher or a librarian in an elementary school. Those pieces attract me, too. I was mostly first grade. I LOVE the quilt. I want some of that fabric. We used to write a Brown Bear, Brown Bear in creative writing in my class. The things those kids would write!

I finally came across the Dick and Janes. Bought all 4 pieces that she had in the shop. Don't know what I'll do, but I'll hold on to it until I decide. Maybe forever. I have a feeling I won't be able to cut into it right away.

Your Brown Bear quilt is lovely. Yes, and DO keep one for yourself.

When I learned to read I used the Dick and Jane books in school and managed to tuck away a few old copies when we closed down a school a few years ago. The librarian from the new school had tossed them into the discard pile! HERESY! My husband would LOVE that fabric. I am going to have to look for some online!!
