Default Bug Jar Quilt for Grandson

This is the first time I've posted a picture on the board. I made this quilt for my 5 year old GS who loves bugs. Maybe he'll grow up to be a science teacher just like his Dad! The animals and escaping bugs are paper pieced.
It is difficult to see but my LAQ did a wonderful job, putting dragon flies on the border for that extra touch.
    Thanks for looking.

I Love your take on the bug jar theme. Adding the various critters out of the jars is a nice touch! Thanks for sharing.

This quilt is adorable! I love the way you embellished it with extra bugs and reptiles. I am sure your grandson will treasure it.

This is so cute; what a wonderful gift for a buddy scientist. I imagine the dad will be sorry it isn't under the tree for him (smile). Hmmmm, might have to make another one of these (laughter). Great quilt and beautiful quilting work. Thank you for sharing.
