AZ Jane, I love your version of this. I made a single block about 30 years ago. Loved the outcome, but at the time it seemed so tedious. Maybe its time to try it again… (and I don't think it looks like skittles!)

I would NEVER have thought of doing this America's Revolutionary war quilt in bright colors but it works. This is one quilt that if you make one, you are not wanting to make another. Lots of little pieced blocks. Have fun with using you those extra blocks.

Your scrappy quilt is absolutely beautiful-I really like those happy colors. The way you used all those colors together is so balanced. I had never seen this pattern used this way-usually they are two-color quilts. This is really a wonderful new avenue for this traditional pattern.
