IMHO the heat set photos are more crisp and of better quality that directly printed on fabric. Any one else have this experience? I did labels for my Because of the Brave with pictures of our family soldiers and they came out much better using the reverse print and iron-on method than printing on the fabric using an ink jet printer. Maybe it was just my printer.
EmiliasNana! Thank you for this post. I really hadn't thought about making my own transfers. This is so great! There are times when it is the only way and knowing that it works for you gives me hope that I can create my own labels this way. So personal when you do it yourself. Thanks again. Yolanda

I love the quilt. It is beautiful. This is also on my bucket list. I have the ruler and the pattern. I was going to figure it out and decide if this is something I want to take to my retreat in March. I Like to take something that doesn't require too much thought. I will figure out if it something to take or not.
