    Default "Busy As A Bee" Calendar Quilt
    I always liked seeing Calendar Quilts, so when my quilt guild decided to do one as a challenge I decided to make this - it is a combination of ideas from several patterns, books and some ideas were from online "clip art". I added some buttons and made the saying around the beehive read "Busy as a bee - - - - all year round". My friend Amy quilted scrolling leaves in the borders and in each square added some quilting to represent the block - snow flakes with the snowman, bees around the beehive, etc. I really like the way it came out and it is now hanging in my dining room.
