    I made three of these bags and discovered that the light/medium weight interfacing works really good. Helps the bas to hold it's shape when you set it down. I also stitched the strap into the seam of the top bands and used a decorative stitch to secure it from the outside; and velcro for the closure instead of a snap.

    I love my butercup bag.
