Mamagus my hubby is color blind too. (Though he won't admit it.) He sees grey and blues as green! :D It's SO much fun when he tries to help me look for coordinating fabrics. NOT !! I never really think to much about it till he informed me one day our geese are GREEN!!! I wish they were! I would make a fortune selling GREEN GEESE!!!! :D

But I know what you mean about trying to "help". It is sort of like having a three year old's perspective on quilt design... you just smile and say "That's a nice idea" and then do your own way! Paul's colourblindness is red-green so basically every colour is affected somewhat. He sees yellow as yellow and really likes that one!
Gotta love 'em!

My hubby had me looking all over for his favorite "green" flannel shirt!!! I found out about his color blindness when he finally said "Here it is!" and held up a blue one that was sitting in plain sight! One of my sons bought him a very bright kelly GREEN one for Christmas one year and told him it was BLUE!!!! We tease him to this day about that.
