    Default Butterfly Cabin quilt

This quilt is for my 11-year old daughter. I thought she was old enough to help choose her pattern, colors, and materials, and she did a wonderful job. Also, she was open to suggestions or comments from me, so that was nice too. The pattern is a log cabin variation, with the half-square triangles adding the butterflies. I admit I used the quilting motifs from the magazine, and the tulips were fun and easy to quilt. Hope you enjoy looking!

Very, very pretty and feminine without being 'girlie'. The two of you work well together.
