    I have been patchworking about 26 years FMQing about 13 years when I was tired of all my quilts being stitched in the ditch I try and do something different with each new quilt.

    Sorry to disappoint you but I don't own a longarm, not even a short arm. This was all quilted on my Pfaff Expressions 3.0 sewing machine. No pantograph pattern was followed, just worked within each butterfly block with my interpretation of a feathered swirl. I quilted each butterfly block and then quilted twists in the surrounding squares, then moved onto the next square. I laid it out on my bed after I had the centre quilted to make sure it was laying flat then quilted the borders.

    This is wonderful! What a lovely combinations of techniques. Love your color choices. Really nice. Can you tell I like it a lot?
