    The butterfly wings are hand appliqued and the black body is machine appliqued. I purchased the pattern from Clotilde.com. Originally it was going to be a wall hanging but the Mom and Dad said that the GD really needed a bedspread........I still cant believe it turned out so nice.

    Beautiful quilt and isn't it cute the way she gave you those hints. She will be surprised and very happy. Probably about as happy as you seem to be to have made it for her.
