Your the best butterflywing!! That was so nice of you.

If my post office got that package back, they would never know who it was that had sent it. You must live in a small community, barb.

woo hoo! pretty fabrics, B and K! and I had never heard of a quilters grate before that other thread. I don't use mine much, but I may have to give it another go. The last time I basted one, my back was paying big time! Butterflywing you are a sweetie! and K, you are so deserving! love you both, C

Any ideas for the other three - blue, pink and green, a good yard of each, gratefully received!

Re the snail trail with the purples, I looked at what size I want to make and there's not enough fabric (sorry BW - not a complaint to you!) I wanted to make a throw for a little purple sofa in the living room, which is all scratched up by Barney cat! It needs to be around 48" x 54"; but then I was on Tisha's Mexican Star thread and Klue posted a link to a folded border for her quilt. And on the same page was this combo of snail and jacob's ladder which I prefer AND because it introduces a third fabric, should mean I have enough! http://www.islandcrime.com/quilts.htm

What do you think? And what would be a good colour with the purple? I'll go look in my stash! Oh BW - you've got my brain a buzzin! I love it! :D

    k,

i know that you're a creative sort of girl (i have a daughter who i think is older than you) and i expect to see something great out of this or i want them back.
actually, i have more of the 3-colorway fabric so if you need more let me know. no more of the others.

i really live in a large community. but how many butterflywings do you think there are around here? the return address was gone but the return name was still there. my mailman knew it immediately! he came over right away and told me he had a surprise for me. grinning from ear to ear. what a good guy, right? it's karma.
