Thank you, Joanne S for those quick ways to do the Buzz Saw! Looked at yours too, Suse! It's very pretty! Also, thank you gramma33 for the link you used. All I had was a sketch I drew so directions will really come in handy!! Don't remember where I saw the quilt made up, but thought it wd make a great scrappy quilt. Now I can get going on it with all the directions so far!! Thanx, everyone!

    4. Cut 4 or 5 equal width strips. Number them 1-4 or 1-5
    5. Realign them from ascending order to descending order. Sew 1/4 inch seams. Now you have a Buzz Saw Block.

Many possible variations. Keep the same light fabric, but use scraps for the darker contrast. Or, use scrap lights and scrap darks.

Many lay-out variations - similar to log cabins, but MUCH faster.
I made a sample block using these directions once. It did go together very easy. I should try to find it. It would make a great scrap quilt and heaven knows I have plenty of scraps. But first I have a wedding quilt to work on. Keep up the good work.

The block looks fun. I'll have to dig for the pattern and try it. The baby is so precious. :D
