    I'm new to this whole choosing colors/fabrics thing; but I was wondering about using a border that is a tone on tone or blender, green maybe. I wouldn't use anything that would distract the view of the beautiful quilt itself. I just know your sister will love it, whatever you do. It's so pretty!

    OK, here are the borders I decided on. I asked DH for his opinion and he liked it a lot. He said it was very 50's looking. What do you all think? I hope it's not too much of the writing fabric.
