Calendar Swap

I just finished this quilt from a swap I was in years ago. We made blocks to represent each month. I made the pumpkins.

I love this concept. I've wanted to do a quilt but doing it as a swap seems so much more efficient!

Is there a significance to the items for the months? Like I don't get the significance of the crab for August?? It's the only month that I don't get. Otherwise the thought is cute.

yeah, I am not sure of that one either. I think the person liked to go crabbing that month or something.
