once again Feline is giving us great info. I bought my machine used and also got all her rulers. I love and use the Linda Taylor 6x4" straight ruler the most--fits my hand and doesn't wobble like the GamGuide Jr. that comes with Gammills. I also use arcs all the time--my favorite are DeLoa Jones' boomerangs--I have 2 sizes and want more!. I keep a 3" circle out all the time to use for countinuous curves, etc. and the other one I use a lot is my Linda Taylor applique guide--keeps my hands steady without wearing me out--the hopping foot fits into the guide and allows you to hold the guide to the edges easily.
Like Feline I have lots of speciality rulers (think I might have that same one she describes!) that I rarely use because they are awkward to hold. I do have several shapes in sets of snap together rulers--oval, sm. circles, hex, etc. I use them sometimes hen I'm doing lots of dense modern quilting but don't suggest you run out and buy them. I do have a couple of Jamie Wallen rulers with handles and I find them not as 'flexible" in use as I'd like. Love my rulers!
