Great job and thank you for sharing. I think I would do sashing around the blocks also. Also I would take the pumpkin, sam, the bird, the tree and put them at the bottom.
    Have a Blessed day

I would definitely move the tree to the top left corner so that your pieced blocks are aligned together on the sides and tops and the 'live' blocks are in the corner. I would also put a frame around the center block either with flying geese or just a nice border. I like your blocks as they are but a sashing would work also. I definitely would use a narrow border and then a wider border picking out colors from your quilt. You did a great job on this quilt, I think it will be a winner.

I think you need to add the inner sashing around the barn. However, adding sashings around the blocks I think would be too much. It looks great the way it is other than around the barn, then add a narrow border to frame the inside of the quilt and then an outer border. Just my 2 cents worth. You did a great job! I love the colors too!

I like the suggestions of a border around the barn block, also, but that's going to make your small blocks need something between them to fit around it. You can always put background fabric between them. It's such a cute quilt. I like the idea of a narrow inner border, maybe the red, then a wider, maybe 4" outer border, maybe a soft blue so that the center of the quilt remains the focal point.

Wonderful looking blocks. I would think sashing would finish it off nicely.

I agree with the other ladies here that it needs a border around the center block and the other ones to. Please post a picture when you get it finished. Good job. HUGS

I would change one thing. I would move the tree to the corner thus having each of the "picture" blocks in the corners.
Patchwork blocks between the pictures. Know the tree isn't a picture block, exactly , but it appears to the eye to be.
Other than that it looks great. Like the ideas suggested by others.

I think it would look great with narrow sashing.

Can you tell me what the block on the upper left hand corner is called? It appears to be a slight variation of the the churn dash, and it's kinda cool.

maybe a sashing choosing one of the fabrics, then a picket fence, which would go with the theme of the blocks, then a final blending sashing and plain binding.x
