Sorry to hear about the quilt theft; isn't amazing how great everyone is here - so helpful!

To me it looks like those signature blocks that I see so often lately where there is a light colored area diagonally across the block, with a darker print on either side. Only, in the block in the picture, the area that would have been for the signature is the darker print fabric and the half triangles on either side are the lighter prints. Then it looks like four are put together with the signature area points coming together in the center to form an X. Then a sashing around the newly formed X block. (make sense?) Ann

I feel so sorry for you. I hope the conscience of the person who stole it is really bothering him/her.

The sashing was light blue, the setting blocks and binding were pink, the backing was white, cotton batting.

Ignore the person and the room and try to visualize the quilt if you can. It is difficult. Sorry.
You should post this picture here.

Such a cute pic. Love the rotary phone and all the older stuff and the cute young lady!! :)
My grandmother always had one of those kinds of lights over her bed. I was just thinking about that light not too long ago. Love the photo. Yes, a lot has changed since then, some good and some not so good.
